Wondering what's the point of Blood Pact in this deck ?

In response to Kwaice: She has Blood pact in game from the beggining (with In the thick of it) so Diana has a response to initial threats with her initial 1 Willpower stat. Since she can stop Doom growing encounter cards, it is an effective solution. Later on, you may just ignore the permanent.
