Priest of Two Faiths

Leo Anderson finally gets another good cheap ally. Father Mateo or any bless token build gets another great tool. Also gives rogue a chance to even out the chaos bag with their other cards that dump cursed tokens.

My only down side is this feels like a survivor card more than a rogue.

This card is very versitile. For 1 you can add three bless tokens to the bag and discard it at the end of the turn. Later in the game it offers good cheap soak if your charging into danger. Or if your running a cursed token build you get one cursed token added each round.

The favor of this card is also phenomenal! A priest who fronts for a good diety, but has a darker side.

Top notch card, will likely see a bit of play.

Agreed. It's good to see Leo get some love. — KillerShrike · 1
Pretty sure this card will age like fine wine the second lucky penny decks start looking on how to flood the bag with any type of token. — Zerogrim · 295
Going to run a father Mateo deck with this Favor of the Moon, Tempt fate, Olive McBride and Paradoxical Covenant. Load the bag up with blessed, seal 3 bad tokens from tempt fate and auto succeed any test with a blessed token. — Abbojm01 · 5

@Goldbee right there with you, I just added this guy to my Dexter deck and he looks quite promising — Pinchers · 132
Especially in Leo, Calling in favors has incredible synergy with this. Just pray not to get this on an expensive ally. — LeFricC'estChic · 86

Streetwise

Hasn’t been a lot of chatter about level 0 yet, but I can attest that it is very solid in Preston. If he can get it down, his extra 4 resources a turn can put him at a 5 in agility or intelligence for a test. And he’s usually building to have a lot of resources anyway. That’s a lot of flexibility for level 0 Preston. After tabooing level 3 so heavily, I’m surprised they released level 0 as such a strong card. Granted, for other rogues it can be expensive, but this is the class built for making resources. This card fits well in any resource-heavy builds.

This as a one of in parallel Skids is really nice since he gets so rich, and then you upgrade it and have an extra spot in your deck for something else lvl 0 without taking Adaptable. It's a solid stat booster at level 0- costing nothing to start with is a huge point in its favor. — StyxTBeuford · 13049
Stella Clark

One thing the other reviews didn't touch on is how amazing Stella's health and sanity are. With very few exceptions (Calvin and Lola, and Pete except with Duke he does), an investigator's combined value adds up to 14 or 15. Stella is blessed with a generous 16! This might not seem like a huge deal, but health/sanity is king in Arkham Horror. Many scenarios are down to the wire and 1 more damage or horror can make the difference. And not only that, Stella has 8's in both sections, so she has no clear weakness! This, in combination with her access to Peter Sylvestre and Jessica Hyde and all the other survivor soak, makes her incredibly tanky! And remember, this is all just gravy on top of an amazing ability and solid skills. In fact, considering how good Stella seems to be with her current card pool, I don't know if she needed that additional hp. But I won't complain.

It's funny, because Pete (with Duke) comes out to 16 as well, but he still can't go to 1 of either without making dog owners sad (and losing a bunch of utility), while Stella can. — SGPrometheus · 847
Extra durability makes sense for a character who wants to fail a lot. That tends to hurt. — MrGoldbee · 1487
She could take the Five of Pentacles and Anna Kaslow to get to 10/10 health and sanity just to flex. — Zinjanthropus · 230
Scroll of Secrets

With the taboo, in addition to it just being a pretty good "draw three cards", there are I think two investigators who might find its ability even more useful:

Both their weaknesses shuffle themselves back into your deck. Scroll of Secrets being able to discard weaknesses straight from your deck can give you a reasonable shot at getting rid of it for this run-through of your deck, especially if you only start using the scroll after you've just shuffled the weakness back in and your deck is starting to run thin.

What about Ursula? Also combine with Alyssa to discard the top card instead. — Django · 5155
Harvey Walters against his weakness too ! — AlexP · 283
This also gets stronger in Standalone scenarios or at the end of campaigns where extra weaknesses have been added to your deck. It doesn't always work for every investigator that can take but you want to find a way to include this if you can. — The Lynx · 993

Watcher from Another Dimension

To make it super clear, I'll ask this question for confirmation:

If Patrice draws this card during upkeep, she can choose to go first in the next Investigator phase. If she has 3 actions for her turn, she can spend action 1 to try to fight/evade the Watcher in her hand. If she succeeds, the Watcher is discarded. If she fails the test, then it enters play engaged with her. She can choose to do nothing for her last 2 actions. Then, the fighter of the group can kill the Watcher. Right?

If that's the case, then this weakness seems fairly manageable. If successful, it only costs Patrice one action and maybe some resources or a charge or a card to deal with the Watch. If not successful, then it loses Patrice a turn. Not the most terrifying, but definitely something to plan for considering it can do 3 damage during the enemy phase.

This enemy only attack Patrice by Forced ability when it's in hand (check hidden keyword). I think, the main penalty is to decrease the actural hand size. — elkeinkrad · 500
If you fail, then it's a normal enemy that your fighter can probably take care of with a single (difficult) fight action, but which can attack you as normal, yeah. If you don't attempt it it won't attack you until your deck runs out of cards, as elkeinkrad said, so most of the time you also have a turn or two you can just let it clog up your hand if necessary. — Thatwasademo · 58
I would advise making any attempts against it with your last action of the turn, too -- since hidden enemies aren't considered engaged / in your threat area unlike hidden treacheries, you can do whatever you want with your first two actions and not have to skip them like you suggested. — Thatwasademo · 58
Well failing and then not following up for 2 actions means you’re spending at least 4 actions dealing with it, which is pretty costly. But I’ve found Patrice with a few commits and a Fire Axe can easily take care of this. Fire Axe works great as you can use the Axe’s ability and then follow up with a 2 damage attack boosted by cards only. — StyxTBeuford · 13049
